The Kangaroo House is currently looking for a Webmaster volunteer to join our team for launching our new charity organization with a social economy vocation.
Missions: optimizing and updating our Website.
We want a volunteer to join our team whose profile is as follows:
– Have skills in design and update of Websites.
– Ideally possess, but not necessarily experienced in a NPO or a charity organization.
– Be sympathetic to our cause towards vulnerable families and demonstrate a lot of empathy and social commitment.
– Want to participate launching this great adventure!
Initial meetings can be held during the day or evening. Subsequently, the work can be done remotely.

The Kangaroo House is currently seeking a Communications Advisor / Public Relations to join our team for launching our new charity organization with a social economy vocation.
The objective of the position is to develop the communication strategy of the Kangaroo House and implement all necessary means to its success: communication tools, public relations campaigns, organizing major events, etc.
Missions:
– Analyze the needs of the organization, develop a communication / public relations plan.
– Conduct promotional activities (advertising, produce and distribute promotional items, attend trade shows, conduct public relations activities, etc.), according to the action plan  and strategies developed.
–  Coordinate media relations.
– Meet with various stakeholders likely to become financial partners (government agencies, private companies, associations, etc.).
– Represent the company or organization (with industry associations, business communities, government agencies and clients) to increase its visibility and develop a strong network of contacts.
– Manage the organization of fundraising events.
We are looking for a profile as follows:
– Have extensive experience in communications, public relations and event management.
– Have excellent written / oral skills in both English and French.
– Ideally possess, but not necessarily public relations experience with a NPO, a charity organization or a social company.
– Be sympathetic to our cause towards vulnerable families and demonstrate a lot of empathy and social commitment.
– Demonstrate autonomy, flexibility and a sense of humor.
– Want to participate launching this great adventure!

The objective of the position is to work with the General Manager to design and develop a fundraising strategy for the launching and sustainability of The Kangaroo House, with the corporate world, government agencies, community sector and social economy.
Missions:
-Develop a fundraising strategy.
-Make the tools of solicitation in connection with the communication advisor.
-Conduct the solicitation of private and public businesses and the community sector.
-Meet with various stakeholders likely to become financial partners (government agencies, private companies, associations, etc.).
-With the communication advisor, representing the company or organization (with industry associations, business communities, government agencies and clients) to develop a strong network of contacts.
-Participate in the organization of fundraising events.
We want a volunteer to join our team whose profile is as follows:
-Have experience in the solicitation of an NPO, charity organization or a social company.
– Have excellent written / oral skills in both English and French.
– Experience in managing finances.
– Be sympathetic to our cause towards vulnerable families and demonstrate a lot of empathy and social commitment.
